Milk Thistle Seasoning

Ground with salt, milk thistle makes a great lower sodium seasoning.

Cut your salt in half by adding an equal amount of milk thistle. Not only will your salted dishes be tastier and contain less sodium, but you will be adding the health benefits of milk thistle to your diet easily and quickly.

  • Salt, finely ground *, **
  • Milk thistle, finely ground *


  • Mix salt and milk thistle in a ratio of 1:1 (example: 1 tablespoon of each).
  • You may make only as much as you need for a particular meal or recipe, or you can make enough to store in an airtight container to use over the coming week.


* You can use a coffee grinder to grind the ingredients evenly to your desired consistency.

** You may use any type of salt you wish. We recommend sea salt or Himalayan pink salt.
